As part of our commitment to our staff, clients and business associates during the current Coronavirus pandemic, Rowntree Partnership has developed a ‘Business Continuity Plan’ that ensures, during these generally unforeseen circumstances, we continue to provide the same quality service which our clients have come expect over the last 40 years whilst ensuring that all of our staff can continue to work safely.
Due to the current situation, as from close of business on Monday 23rd March the office of Rowntree Partnership has been temporarily closed until Government advice confirms that normal working practices can be resumed and all Rowntree Partnership staff can safely return to the office premises to work. We have taken this course of action based on Government advice with just regard for the safety and wellbeing of our staff, their families, and those who they come into contact with.
However, with a little foresight, we were able to add to our IT system with the implementation of software that has suitably enabled our team of Engineers and Technicians to safely work remotely, from home, fully connected to and by our IT system.
Our ‘key staff’ remain contactable by mobile phone, whilst all staff are contactable using the normal email addresses. Mobile phone numbers are available on the company web site. In the unlikely event that you are unable to contact the relevant Rowntree Partnership staff member immediately, please leave a message and we will return the call just as soon as we become free.
Although the main office phone line is not being manned, missed calls to the office premises are being monitored. Missed calls are being logged and collated and will be returned within twenty four hours
As above, all staff office emails are fully active as normal and are being monitored by staff members as they continue to work from home. ‘Virtual Office’ meetings, if required, can with some notice be accommodated as and when necessary. Some team members may be working abnormal hours nominally outside of the normal office hours, as they try to combine working hours alongside other commitments ie caring for children and vulnerable people. If a team member doesn’t respond to your email immediately, please be assured that they will get back to you as soon as possible. If your query is particularly urgent, please use the email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are pleased to confirm that currently none of the team members are on ‘sick leave’ due to the virus, however, should this scenario change one of our colleagues will endeavour to make contact with the project design/construction team members to advise which member of our team will be allocated to assist. We will send an email that will include revised contact details that should be used until one receives further notice.
As a practice, we continue to closely monitor the situation and all advice and instruction from the government officials during this pandemic. However this is very much a fluid situation in which the governments advice and instruction is subject to change. Please be assured that Rowntree Partnership are ready to and will react accordingly, changing our responses quickly and as necessary.
At present however we are very much ‘open and ready for business’ as usual, other than attendance at group meetings. We will attend small generally unoccupied sites where ‘safe social distancing’ is easily and practically achievable and where the purpose of the meeting will not be compromised by adopting measures to keep all our staff safe and well. In line with government instructions staff members will not attend meetings involving more than two people. Suitable PPE will be provided to any staff member attending a site.
We understand that it is critical that we deliver for our clients and we will maintain regular communications with you and fellow consultants, who are experiencing the same challenges.
With the planning and arrangements already put in place Rowntree Partnership is well placed to respond and answer the challenges that all businesses will encounter in the coming weeks and months. However, if you are aware of any other ways in which we might be able to further strengthen our emergency measures please do not hesitate to let one of the company directors know and we will do our utmost to implement further contingency plans where possible.
We thank you for your understanding in this time of national emergency.
Please look after yourselves and your families, stay safe and keep well.
